A-EDT 101 COURSE TITLE-Introduction to Educational
Technology
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course introduces first-year students to the basic
ideas and practices of educational technology. It explains how technology
supports teaching and learning in schools. Students will learn the meaning,
scope, and importance of educational technology, the types of instructional
media, and the simple ways teachers use technology to make learning more
effective. The course also introduces information and communication technology
(ICT), the roles of teachers and learners in technology-supported classrooms, and
current trends in educational technology.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
